Griffins & Friends

Of course there is a special fun in creating animals which do not exist in reality.
The animals on this page were made for my daughter Maja who writes fantasy stories .
The Unicorn belongs to the Schmendrick- Set.
It is made of viscose and has jointed legs with armatures. The shoulder height is 6" (15cm).
Smaug, the golden dragon, from Tolkien's "The Hobbit" (You can't see Bilbo Baggins who is wearing his ring.)
Smaug has a length of 23" (60 cm) from his nostrils to the end of his tail. He is extreme pose able. His legs are jointed with armatures, even the claws can be bent. He can move the neck and tail and stretch or fold his wings.
The Griffin was a birthday present for Maja in April  1998.
In 1999 he was nominated for TED worldwide in the category "the zoo".
He is made of mohair and real feathers and as pose able as the dragon. His shoulder height is 6" (15 cm).
Pegasus
Pegasus was my birthday present this year - a must for somebody wanting to become a fantasy author.
Pegasus has a shoulder height of 6"(15 cm) and is made of viscose and real feathers.

Of course he is able to move his head, legs and wings.
