Als dritter in meiner Kleinbärenserie ist nach dem Waschbären und dem Katzenbären seit 2001 auch der Nasenbär dabei.

Mein Coati, so der einheimische Name, hat eine Schulterhöhe von 5 cm und ist von der Nase bis zur Schwanzspitze etwa 18 cm lang. Er ist aus Synthetikplüsch gemacht.
Unten zwei etwas größere Coatis, links der Weißrüsselnasenbär, rechts eine verwandte Nasenbärenart.

I have designed the third of my series of the small relatives of the bears. After the red panda and the raccoon I now present the coati, a species living also in South California.

My coati measures 7 1/2 " from nose to the end of the tail and has a shoulder height of 2". He is made of synthetic plush.
The coatis on right are slightly larger. They show two different species meeting each other.
